This Privacy Policy explains how Data2Bids ("the Service") collects, uses, and protects information when users connect third-party storage providers (such as Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox) and when documents are processed within the platform.

1. Information Access and Use

• Data2Bids only accesses files and folders explicitly selected and authorized by the user.
• We only read the folder(s) the user chooses.
• We do not access, read, write, modify, or delete any data outside the selected project folder.

Data is processed solely to:

• Analyze project documents
• Generate summaries, searchable indexes, and AI-assisted responses
• Support core project management features

We do not use document data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the platform.

2. Compliance with Google OAuth, OneDrive & Dropbox

Google Drive (OAuth 2.0)

Data2Bids complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Policy.

• Only the user-selected folder is scanned.
• We do not use or share Google user data for external or unrelated purposes.
• We do not resell, transfer, or analyze Google data outside the scope of the service.

Microsoft OneDrive & Dropbox (future integrations)

Data2Bids follows equivalent privacy standards:

• Access is restricted exclusively to user-authorized folders.
• No global browsing or unauthorized access.

3. No Personal Information Stored Outside Project Context

Data2Bids does not store personal information except what is necessary for authentication and project operations.

We do not collect or store:

• Personal documents
• Contact lists
• Emails
• Photos
• General cloud storage contents outside the selected folder

4. Logs and System Activity

We may collect system logs to:

• Improve service quality
• Diagnose technical issues
• Provide auditability and security

Logs do not include the contents of user documents unless required for debugging.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Users may request deletion of:

• Their account
• All project data
• All processed files and AI-generated outputs

Once deleted, the information cannot be recovered.

6. AI Disclaimer

Data2Bids uses Artificial Intelligence to analyze project documents.

AI-generated outputs:

• May contain errors or omissions
• Should be verified against original documents
• Are provided "as is," without warranty

Users are responsible for decisions made using AI outputs.

7. Payments and Billing

• Payments are handled securely through Stripe or PayPal.
• Data2Bids does not store credit card numbers.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
• Refunds follow Stripe's official policy.

8. Payment Information — Stripe Processing

All payments are processed via Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider.

Data2Bids does not collect, transmit, or store:

• Credit card numbers
• CVV codes
• Expiration dates
• Bank details

Stripe stores this information on our behalf and provides Data2Bids with a secure token for billing operations.

Recurring subscription charges are processed directly by Stripe or PayPal, not by Data2Bids.

9. Limitation of Liability

Data2Bids is not liable for:

• Decisions made based on AI-generated outputs
• Delays or issues from third-party providers (Stripe, Google, Microsoft, etc.)
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use
